Flushing Blocked Weeping Tile in Aurora

In this short clip from Aurora, Ontario, we called in a specialist to flush blocked weeping tile beside a foundation that has been excavated and waterproofed from the outside. With the soil removed and the exterior wall exposed, it’s much easier to see how the drainage system is performing and to confirm that water is flowing freely away from the foundation via the weeping tile.

When weeping tile is partially or fully blocked, water can build up around the footing instead of being carried away. Over time, this can contribute to basement leaks, damp walls, and water entry at the floor–wall joint. Flushing the weeping tile, as shown in this video, helps clear obstructions and restore proper drainage so that water is directed efficiently to the storm sewer system.
